Wow!!!! I played so much sports this week!! I played three baseball games in a row. I played Monday night, Tuesday night, and Wednesday night. We won all three and are now in the majors championship game. On Thursday, I had a select soccer tryout and made it. It is now Friday and it is the championship day. If we win we play the same team again for the championship. Dang!!! THat is alot for one week. Well, wish me luck.

My Creative Poem

Hello, I'm back. I was bored on Sunday and decided to write a poem. I don't know if i think it is good or not. So, I need votes for great, good, horrid! Well, here it is:

The Traveler

In the village where many children play,
There was a traveler that lost his way.
Rumor has it that he came from a distant land,
To find a maiden and win her hand.
People say he has searched far and wide,
But has not found one to be his bride.
When he came here and searched our town,
His hopes quickly descended down.
But then he met Lisa,
She was humble and poor,
He knew she was the one he had searched for.
They fell in love and had a beautiful marriage,
And the Traveler finally settled down in the very same village.

End of First Semester

Hello, It is the end of the first semester and I am leaving it as a straight a student! I have a 4.0 in every one of my classes. I am ahead and my first semester grade in algebra will go on my high school transcript. I managed to to get a A on it. YEAH! Next semester I am starting computer tech, sounds fun. Also, I get a 5-day weekend. Hoorah! Well I will hopefully post later.

Halloween

We got a lot of candy on Halloween. I was th grim reaper, Micah was Weird al' yangkovk, emma was a vampire, and Adana was a chicken. The funniest thing happened while we were trick-or-treating. Adana went to a lady and said trick-or-treat. The lady gave her a pencil. Adana took it and said"I don't want that, I wasnt chocolate." Then she gave the pencil to the lady and walked on. For those of you that hve been to mora's, they gave away free ice cream. WOW. Also, yesterday was my soccer tournament. We are playing up a level so they are harder teams then we have played yet. We lost the first game 5-0 and won the second game 4-3. two of which were my goals and 1 assist. We also have two games today, but it is sunday so I am missing them. Well, talk to yall later.

camp

Today I am going to scout camp. Sweet! It sounds like so much fun. We are also going to elect a patrol and assistant patrol leader. I won't be back till dinner time Saturday. It took forever for me to go to sleep last night. By the way, baseball ended. The Yankees beat the Red Sox in the championship game, 10-6. I have to go do scripture and prayer. See ya.

Chiton at Beach

Chitons can be small or large but they are still mollusks. Their scientific name is Chiton articulatas. They are sometimes known as sea cradles. The Chiton has 8 layers of shell. Each one overlapping each other. The plates are surrounded by a softer yet hard ring called the girdle. Although it protects them, they can hardly move around. If they do fall off the surface beneath them, they can slowly curl into a ball which then makes them capable of rolling onto their front side.
